Inside the guide

Review purpose before choosing an action

Build a joined inventory of pages, search evidence, conversions, backlinks, freshness and topic fit. No single metric should determine whether a page stays. An accurate low-traffic support page may have a job that an obsolete high-traffic page does not.

Implement in measured batches

Agree the decision and redirect mapping, preserve backups, update internal links and sitemaps, then monitor page groups over a suitable period. Changing a date alone is not a meaningful refresh. The uncleared archive example is omitted from this public edition.

Work through the guide

Use the downloadable guide for its complete examples, audit checks and reference list. Record the page or entity reviewed, the evidence available, unresolved questions, an action owner and a review date. Keep assumptions separate from observed findings.
