What it helps you decide

A low traffic number does not explain why a page needs attention. This workflow reviews purpose, access, accuracy, overlap, performance context and dependencies before recommending Keep, Update, Merge or Remove.

The action is separate from readiness. A provisional recommendation can identify the next check without pretending the missing evidence is available.

What’s in the package

  • SKILL.md with reusable review instructions.
  • A decision guide with primary-source references.
  • A blank review record and completed public-page example.
  • A transparent five-scenario assessment.
  • The companion playbook and completed example as PDFs.

Try it with your pages

Load the Skill in an agent that supports Skills, or provide SKILL.md and its references as instructions. Bring page text or URLs, the intended reader and the evidence you actually have. No API key or private analytics connection is required for a basic review.

Review these pages for keep, update, merge or remove. Label missing evidence and give a specific next action with an owner. Do not modify the site.

Installation depends on your agent environment. This is a source package, not an installer; cross-agent compatibility has not been tested.

See a completed review

The example compares two sitemap articles. It preserves the distinct field-note purpose and recommends a factual correction to the technical guide. It does not approve a merge, validate the reported project numbers or claim a performance result.

What has been tested

The authoring assistant manually applied the Skill to five fictional evidence packets: a short policy, a seasonal guide, an accidental noindex, overlapping topics with different jobs, and a retired offer. The outputs met the author-assessed case conditions.

This initial walkthrough is not an independent evaluation, blind benchmark or proof of SEO effectiveness. A genuine merge decision, inaccessible-page handling and cross-agent behavior need further testing.

Review first, implement separately

The Skill produces recommendations. It does not authorize edits, redirects or deletion. Validate the evidence and dependencies, approve the action, then verify the implementation before evaluating outcomes.

The framework is informed by Google’s helpful-content guidance and primary technical documentation linked in the playbook. It is not an official Google scoring system.
